Well it is thursday, and another Log Jamz is in order. In the last couple of weeks i have talked about locations, subs, suppliers and the like. Today's topic is going to be upkeep. Just like most homes a log home will need general maintenance to stay a healthy home.
Such things to consider are exterior staining, checking for water damage, carpenter bees { and just so you know they don't buzz around with little hammers doing repairs! } and possible investation from termits. All of the following items can be taken care of by setting up a routine maintenance schedule for yourself to keep your log home healthly.
